Master Trainer Course: Helping Babies Breathe

The American Academy of Pediatrics, in collaboration with the Bristol Medical Simulation Centre, is holding a Master Trainer course for Helping Babies Breathe 2nd Edition. It will take place on the 5th-6th February 2018 at the Bristol Medical Simulation Centre.

Helping Babies Breathe is an evidence-based educational programme to teach neonatal resuscitation techniques to all those who attend births in resource-limited countries.

This two-day course will provide participants with the skills and equipment to teach neonatal resuscitation using low-technology methods and robust, portable equipment.

The session is designed to develop new HBB master trainers who will make a commitment to train global healthcare professionals in resource-limited environments to provide the initial steps of neonatal resuscitation with an emphasis on The Golden Minute. It is suitable for doctors, nurses, midwives and allied.
