MARCH Director Joy Lawn co-authors first textbook on Women, Children & Adolescent health through the life-cycle

MARCH Director Professor Joy Lawn has co-authored the first textbook on Global Health of Women, Newborns, Children and Adolescents in collaboration with UCL.

The textbook, co-authored by UCL researchers Dr Delanjathan Devakumar, Dr Jennifer Hall and Dr Zeshan Qureshi takes a life-course approach to health. Following women from adolescence to motherhood, the textbook covers sexual and reproductive health, HIV, pregnancy, mental health and more. Children are followed from conception to adolescence, with newborn care, nutrition, infections and injury included.
