Rachel Glogowski, A Theme Student Liaison
Rachel Glogowski graduated with a BA from Villanova University. She received a Fulbright and worked on youth development and life skills training programs in rural and urban India. Most recently, she served as a Global Health Corps Fellow in Boston USA, where she worked on health equity projects. She is now earning her MSc Public Health for Development at LSHTM.
Maura Daly, B Theme Student Liaison
Maura Daly is a midwife with 15 years of experience working with vulnerable populations. Before arriving at LSHTM she worked with MSF providing medical humanitarian aid and has worked as a midwife in places such as South Sudan, Yemen, Nepal and Sierra Leone. She is currently pursuing a MSc in Public Health for Development at LSHTM.
Sarah Blackstock, C Theme Student Liaison
Sarah Blackstock is paediatric doctor who has an interest in global child health. She trained in the UK, however has recently been working at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Malawi. Sarah has also worked in Uganda as an honorary research fellow at the Malaria Consortium. She is currently undertaking an MSc in Public Health at LSHTM.
Ninha Silva, Blog Editor
Born in Guinea-Bissau and raised in Portugal, she completed her BA in Journalism in 2008. She moved to London in 2011, where she obtained her MA in International Relations and Democratic Politics. She is currently enrolled in the MSc Public Health at LSHTM, and has over 5 years’ experience managing research projects at Imperial College London. Her interests include women's and child’s health and rights.
